Project Detail

1 out of 5 students in the developing countries cannot go to school. These students do not have an opportunity to get basic education which leads them to suffer from poverty just like their parents. World Together is here to establish a donor-recipient 1 to 1 relationship to support food, education, and medical service to these children in order for them to successfully grow as a healthy member of their community.

Objective

Support Hare Lip and Cleft Palate surgery for low class people.

Project Detail

Since 2013, World Together Myanmar Department had cooperated with local agencies to help 40 Hare Lip and Cleft Palate patients annually. 90% of the recipients live in the rural area outside Yangon which lacks medical infrastructure. As of 2017, total 150 children received surgery in Shwe Baho Hospiatal in Yangon and Yangon Dental Hospital from 2014.
