Support children to cope poverty through food, education, medical support.

Project Detail

1 out of 5 students in the developing countries cannot go to school. These students do not have an opportunity to get basic education which leads them to suffer from poverty just like their parents. World Together is here to establish a donor-recipient 1 to 1 relationship to support food, education, and medical service to these children in order for them to successfully grow as a healthy member of their community.

Objective

To contribute to lowering the heart disease patients in Cambodia and to fight the perception of ‘poor child has no hope.’

Project Detail

경제적인 어려움으로 치료와 수술을 받지 못하는 캄보디아 심장병 질환 어린이를 위해 심장병 수술을 지원하고 있습니다. 가난으로 인해 수술을 받을 수 없는 심장병 어린이 환자에게 수술을 지원함으로써 건강을 회복하고 미래를 꿈꿀 수 있도록 돕고 있습니다. 2009년부터 깔멜병원과 협약을 맺고 수술을 진행하였으며, 2017년부터는 캄보디아 내에 한국인이 설립한 헤브론 병원과 협약을 맺고 분기별 3~4명의 심장병 어린이들에게 수술을 지원하고 있습니다. 2017년까지 총 109명의 어린이들이 수술을 받아 새로운 삶을 살아가고 있습니다.
